BERLIN, Germany, 29 June 2023: Habyt, the world's leading flexible housing provider, is ready to welcome 243 tenants to its new building in Berlin, Germany.

Located in the vibrant Berlin-Mitte, bordering the trendy districts of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, the new property on Schmidstraße 2F-K offers the perfect space for city’s newcomers.

Tenants will be able to enjoy a central residential area, with direct and quick access to everything they need around the building, including parks, supermarkets, restaurants, and gyms. This prime location is also well connected to public transport, allowing tenants to reach different stations within walking distance. Biking is another great option in terms of mobility, with bike storage being available for tenants. All parts of Berlin are accessible within a few stops, inviting residents to explore the stylish Kreuzberg area, head into Mitte for a taste of the city center's vibrant life, or enjoy a stroll along the Spree, which is just around the corner.

The Berlin-based architectural firm Bonanni Architekten has divided the building into two structures and designed a clear, sand-colored facade with black steel balconies. Featuring thoughtfully-designed floor plans, underfloor heating, energy-efficient LED lights, and floor-to-ceiling windows that allow ample natural light, the building promises a comfortable living experience.

With 243 units occupying a total area of over 6,034 sqm, the property is owned by W5 Group, the family office of Ralph Winter, and managed by 777 Capital Partners. It consists of 64 shared flats with fully equipped kitchens and living spaces, and 2 private studios. Tenants will have access to two community spaces (one in each building) featuring fully equipped kitchens with cooking islands and lounge areas with sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, and a TV. These spaces offer residents the opportunity to interact, cook together, or simply relax and watch a show. The outdoor terrace, courtyard, and garden also serve as recreational areas for all tenants to enjoy.

With this latest expansion in Berlin-Mitte, Habyt continues its global growth strategy, now with a portfolio consisting of 30,000 co-living units in 50 cities worldwide, spanning from Berlin to Hong Kong and many more locations all over the world.

Philipp von Stein, Senior Expansion Manager at Habyt, said: “The new project creates high-quality and space-efficient co-living spaces for 243 tenants in a very central yet quiet location. Habyt seeks to address the key concerns faced by young professionals relocating to Berlin, specifically affordability and building a sense of community. By providing a solution that emphasizes shared expenses and fostering a sense of belonging, Habyt aims to bridge this gap.”
