Madrid, September 15, 2025: Habyt, the global leader in flexible housing solutions , is proud to announce the launch of Atipico, a new brand of hybrid hotels designed to meet an increasingly diverse range of traveler profiles, including business guests, digital nomads, families, and leisure guests. The brand is built on the belief that modern hospitality must address different use cases while integrating transversal trends such as wellness, co-working, social interaction, self-service, and the blending of work and leisure.
Atipico is born as a response to a new way of travelling, meeting the desire for depth, personality, and connection. Every space under the Atipico brand will be conceived as a curated experience: design-led spaces with signature details, textured interiors that feel both familiar and new, and an atmosphere that reflects the individuality of each city. From sunlit terraces and communal lounges to locally inspired touches, Atipico promises memorable moments, in contrast with a growing standardisation of hospitality experiences.
“Atipico represents a new chapter for Habyt, but also a return to something essential: creating spaces that spark emotions and invite people to return,” says Luca Bovone, founder of Atipico. “In contrast to the luxury segment, other categories of hotels have become increasingly indistinguishable, to the point where guests barely remember them. With Atipico, we want to offer an experience defined by thoughtful design and authentic character, while remaining attainable. Guests will discover spaces that are timeless, elegant, and even nostalgically familiar.”
Developed by Habyt’s in-house team, the brand was conceived as a hospitality concept that blends vintage warmth with contemporary sleekness, inspired by mid-century modern design. The brand was built around the idea of making every stay feel “strangely familiar” — a place that resonates with nostalgia while offering something new. With values of warmth, character, and connection at its core, Atipico aims to provide spaces that are both inviting and inventive, reflecting the group’s ability to create hybrid concepts that adapt to diverse guest needs.
The brand’s first location is set to welcome guests this Fall, with the opening of the first Atipico hotel in Spain.
About Atipico: Atipico is a hospitality brand within Habyt, offering a hybrid hotel concept designed for short and, at times, medium stays. The brand combines the comfort and warmth of a boutique hotel with an accessible positioning, delivering an experience built on design, convenience, and affordability. Reflecting a Habyt signature of creating hybrid and flexible hospitality spaces, Atipico properties offer a variety of unit types to meet different guest profiles and needs, while shared areas are designed around emerging travel trends such as co-working, social connection, and greater autonomy. To be launched in Fall 2025, Atipico plans to expand into multiple markets in the coming years.
