What payment methods do you accept?
We accept SEPA and Credit Cart. You can always review and change your payment method in your private community area (log in on the top right).
What other costs are there besides the rent?
The rent is the only thing you will have to pay, besides the deposit. It includes: bills, internet, recurrent cleaning (frequency dependent on your contract details). What is NOT included is the TV Tax or Rundfunkbeitrag and the move in fee (100€) in case the move in is outside of working hours (Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm) or on the weekend.
When is the rent due?
The rent is due on the first of every month. If you haven't moved in yet, the rent is due the day before moving in.
How much is the deposit and when will I receive it back?
The deposit varies based on the property type and location. You will see the correct deposit displayed on the booking page for each individual room / apartment. The deposit will be refunded to you in up to 2 month of moving out, given the room is returned in its original state. Deposit conditions may vary, please refer to your contract for specific details.
How much do I have to pay if I move in the middle of the month?
If your rental contract starts in the middle of the month, you will only pay for the days from the start of your contract.
How much in advance should I communicate my move out?
You can move out with a two months notice.
Can I visit the apartment?
Unfortunately we have too many requests to be able to accomodate viewings. However our team is here to help you decide if HABYT is for you, get in touch via the apply now button!
What kind of flatmates should I expect?
At Habyt you will be joining a large and diverse community. German, Italian, Spanish, American, English, French, Indian are only few of the cultures and backgrounds that our tenants bring to our community. Our tenants are mostly young professionals, entrepreneurs, artists and students between 18 and 35 years old.
Can I invite someone to sleep over?
Of course you can. You can invite anyone up to a week. Longer stays are possible if your flatmates agree.
Are pets allowed?
We have a no-pet policy, however we can make exceptions depending on the specific situation. Get in touch via the apply now button to get more information.
Is anmeldung (registration of the address) possible?
Of course it is. Our community manager will provide you with all the documents and some extra tips.

Who can I contact if I have a problem?
Our support team is here to help you with any issue you might have. Log into your private community area (you can log in on the top right) and submit a support request. Our team works from 9am to 6pm on workdays.

How do I get my keys?
Once you have signed your Habyt contract, a member of our team will reach out to you to schedule a move in date and time. One member of our team will then be waiting for you at your apartment to welcome you and give you all the information you need for your stay at Habyt.
