Singapore is one of the most expensive places to live in, and although housing costs are among the highest, coliving spaces with all-inclusive rents and amenities offer a more affordable alternative for those looking to rent in Singapore.
Unlike many countries, Singapore doesn’t have a national or regional minimum wage. Instead, wages are primarily determined through market forces, cost of living, and collective agreements between employers and employees.
Public transportation in Singapore is known for being efficient and extensive, offering many different options to commute around the city-state. These include the MRT system, bus services, and light rail transit. Walking and cycling are other popular ways of getting around Singapore.
Singapore is one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world, and there is no lack of fun things to do. Explore Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Island, a resort island with attractions such as Universal Studios Singapore, walk along Singapore River, and discover Singapore’s diverse heritage by visiting Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam. Make sure you don’t miss out on the shopping and dining scenes too!
As a student moving to Singapore, there are a few documents you may need, including proof of identity, proof of enrollment, and proof of income or financial support. If applicable, you may also need to provide an employment contract and visa or residence permit.
